Bambarria Tequila honours the Aztec legend that tells of Huitzilopochtli, the god of the sun and war. According to the legend, Huitzilopochtli instructed the people to build a city in the place where an eagle with a snake in its mouth can be found perched on a cactus. Centuries later, the Aztecs discovered this sign and founded the city of Tenochtitlan, now known as Mexico City. This legend, which is deeply rooted in Mexico's culture, is symbolised by Bambarria Tequila.
