Bambarria Tequila pays homage to the Aztec legend of Huitzilopochtli, the god of the sun and war. According to the legend, Huitzilopochtli instructed the people to build a city on the spot where an eagle, perched on a cactus with a snake in its beak, could be found. Centuries later, the Aztecs discovered this sign and founded the city of Tenochtitlan, now known as Mexico City. This legend, which is deeply rooted in Mexican culture, is symbolised by Bambarria Tequila.
