Description
The Willett Distillery, which reopened its doors in 1997, has since been dedicated to the distillation of traditional Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky. A high proportion of rye and barley in the mash results in an outstanding spiciness and a full-bodied texture. This whisky is complemented by mild and gentle notes of cedarwood and cinnamon, which lend it a smooth body. Fresh hints of mint and fennel enliven the composition, whilst a surprising touch of coconut adds a pleasant note.
In keeping with time-honoured tradition, this bourbon is distilled using a rare combination of a beer still and a pot still, making it truly unique. This traditional method helps to shape the characteristic, rich flavour that makes Willett bourbons so special.
