Generous Gin is a French gin, developed with a focus on naturalness, precise distillation and a balanced blend of various botanicals. The recipe is based exclusively on natural ingredients and combines juniper, citrus fruits, mandarin, red pepper, jasmine and elderflower. Depending on the botanical, different traditional methods are used: some of the ingredients are macerated, whilst others are distilled. Production takes place with great precision in small pot stills, deliberately drawing on classic French distillation techniques. The aim of the blend is to create a harmonious gin in which juniper, citrus, floral notes and spices complement one another, without any single ingredient dominating the overall character.


Generous Gin is bottled at 44 per cent in a 0.7-litre bottle. The idea behind its development is to capture the diversity of a garden in a single distillate, thereby creating an elegant, aromatic and yet accessible gin. A particularly distinctive feature is the interplay between classic juniper and the white blossoms of jasmine and elderflower, the freshness of citrus and mandarin, and the spicy notes of red pepper. The combination of maceration and distillation makes it possible to bring out the different characteristics of the natural botanicals in a targeted manner. As a result, Generous Gin from France has a distinctive profile and was developed specifically with a well-balanced gin and tonic in mind.

Tasting Note

Colour: Clear.

Nose: Delicate and floral with distinct juniper, harmoniously complemented by elderflower and jasmine, as well as fresh citrus notes.

Palate: Aromatic and well-balanced with fresh juniper, lively citrus fruits and mandarin, complemented by floral notes of jasmine and elderflower, as well as a subtle spiciness.

Finish: Long-lasting and harmonious with red pepper, citrus fruits and juniper, as well as subtle lingering floral accents.

Generous Gin was designed specifically for a well-balanced gin and tonic and is best combined with a high-quality, more classic tonic water. Mandarin or lemon zest makes a suitable garnish to highlight the existing citrus notes without overpowering the floral botanicals. Furthermore, this gin is ideal for classic cocktails such as the Gin Fizz, Tom Collins or Martini. On the culinary front, light starters, seafood, goat’s cheese or Mediterranean dishes pair well with its fresh and floral-spicy character.
