Foursquare Spiced Rum is an aromatic and exotic creation from the renowned Foursquare Distillery in Barbados. With an alcohol content of 37.5% ABV, this spiced rum combines the finest Caribbean rum with a harmonious infusion of spices, lending it a seductive depth and complexity. The distillery, known for its high-quality and authentic rums, relies on natural ingredients and traditional production methods for this product too, to deliver a first-class taste experience.

Unlike many commercially available spiced rums, which are often artificially flavoured, Foursquare relies on a natural balance of vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and other spices that wonderfully round off the rum. Ageing in oak casks imparts additional gentle woody notes that harmonise perfectly with the subtle sweetness and spicy accents.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep gold with amber highlights.

Nose: Intense aromas of vanilla, caramel and toasted oak, accompanied by warm spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.

Palate: Full-bodied and velvety with a pleasant sweetness dominated by vanilla and brown sugar, complemented by subtle notes of spices, orange peel and a hint of coconut.

Finish: Long-lasting, spicy and slightly dry, with an elegant combination of sweet vanilla and subtle woody notes.

Foursquare Spiced Rum is excellent when enjoyed neat, ideally over ice, to bring out its complex aromas. It also showcases its characteristic spicy notes particularly well as a base for classic cocktails such as a Spiced Rum Punch, a Dark & Stormy or a Rum Old Fashioned. For a refreshing twist, it can be combined with ginger beer or cola – perfect for a relaxing evening with a Caribbean flair!
