Originally known as "Tatran tea", this tea has its origins in the Tatra Mountains, an impressive part of the Carpathian mountain range in Eastern Europe. In the past, people in this region firmly believed that there was a special medicinal herb for every illness. The ingredients for their "healing potions" were simple and effective: hot water was mixed with honey, garlic, tallow and alcohol to achieve healing effects.

This tradition lives on today in Tatratea liqueur, which uses black tea from India, oak shavings and carefully selected herbs and spices. This modern liqueur preserves the essence of the original recipe and combines it with contemporary flavours.

Tatratea Citrus is enriched with extracts of lemons and limes, giving it its characteristic citrus flavours and a harmonious interplay of tea and fruit notes.

Tasting Note

Nose: Intense Assam tea, notes of lemongrass, mint, verbena.

Flavour: Balanced, citrus, sweet black tea.
