This Scapa Whisky combines its characteristic soft, fruity elegance with a subtle peaty smokiness, which comes from being finished in ex-peated whisky casks. In Old Norse, ‘Glansa’ means ‘gentle glow’, which perfectly describes the character of this whisky.

At 40% ABV, this Highland single malt presents itself as a harmonious blend of sweet, fruity and smoky notes, making it particularly appealing to both lovers of mild whiskies and those new to the world of peated whisky. Tasting Note

Colour: Golden amber.

Nose: Gentle notes of peaty smoke with sweet vanilla, honey, caramelised apples and a hint of tropical fruit.

Palate: Smooth and rounded with notes of creamy toffee, sweet malt, gentle smoke and a subtle hint of sea salt.

Finish: Medium-length, pleasantly smoky and slightly spicy with a warm sweetness.
