The Grand Marnier Louis-Alexandre Cuvée Liqueur is an exclusive composition that combines the highest level of craftsmanship with the finest ingredients. This noble spirit with an alcohol content of 40% vol. in a 0.7-litre bottle was created as a tribute to the founder of the house, Louis-Alexandre Marnier Lapostolle. The cuvée combines the finest cognac from Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne with the intense flavour of exotic bitter oranges. The long ageing period in oak barrels gives this speciality its remarkable depth and richness.

Compared to the classic Grand Marnier, this cuvée is noticeably more intense as it contains a higher proportion of fine cognac. This creates a fascinating balance between the warmth of the cognac and the fresh, fruity notes of the orange essences. Perfect for pure enjoyment, the complexity of this liqueur unfolds at room temperature or slightly chilled in a tumbler glass.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep amber with golden reflections.

Nose: Aromas of candied orange, dried fruit, soft vanilla and fine oak notes.

Flavour: Intense and powerful with a harmonious combination of spicy cognac, dried apricots, fine spices and bittersweet orange.

Finish: Langs, warm and complex with an elegant, slightly spicy note.

Grand Marnier Louis-Alexandre is ideal for drinking neat, either at room temperature or on ice. It harmonises wonderfully with dark chocolate or fine desserts such as crêpes suzette.
