Loch Lomond Signature Blended Scotch Whisky is a harmonious and expressive blend from the historic Loch Lomond Distillery. With an alcohol content of 40 % vol. and bottled in a 0.7-litre bottle complete with a gift box (GB), this whisky is a successful combination of craftsmanship, cask maturation and regional character.

For the Signature Blend, selected malt and grain whiskies are blended together and then matured further using a Solera system – a method best known from sherry production. This process lends the whisky additional depth, a smooth texture and a balance of flavours that sets it apart from classic blends. Maturation takes place in American oak casks, allowing aromas of vanilla, honey, fruit and a subtle spiciness to blend harmoniously.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden yellow.

Nose: Vanilla, apple, caramel and subtle oak notes.

Palate: Mild and rounded with notes of honey, malt, a hint of smoke and dried fruit.

Finish: Smooth, balanced and slightly sweet with a delicate spiciness.

This blend is excellent enjoyed neat or on the rocks. It also makes for a delightful accompaniment to mild desserts such as apple tart, caramel cream or shortbread. As a base for classic whisky drinks such as a whisky sour or highball, it adds a gentle depth of flavour.
