Tasting Note

Colour: Pale gold with amber highlights.

Nose: Aromas of ripe peaches, candied oranges, honey and vanilla, accompanied by a subtle spiciness.

Palate: Smooth and complex with notes of dried fruit, toffee, caramel and roasted almonds. The Madeira casks lend it a slight wine-like sweetness and an elegant woody note.

Finish: Medium-long to long with a harmonious blend of sweet, fruity and spicy nuances.

This whisky pairs superbly with dark chocolate, almond biscuits or dried fruits such as figs and dates. It also reveals its flavours particularly well when paired with mild cheese or smoked ham.
