Tasting Note

Colour: Light gold with amber reflections.

Nose: Aromas of ripe peaches, candied oranges, honey and vanilla, accompanied by a fine spiciness.

Flavour: Soft and complex with notes of dried fruit, toffee, caramel and roasted almonds. The Madeira casks give it a slight winey sweetness and an elegant woody flavour.

Finish: Medium to long with a harmonious blend of sweet, fruity and spicy nuances.

This whisky harmonises perfectly with dark chocolate, almond biscuits or dried fruits such as figs and dates. It also unfolds its flavours particularly well with mild cheese or smoked ham. If you want to enjoy it in a cocktail, you can try it in a classic whisky sour with honey or in a Manhattan with a Madeira twist to emphasise its fruity and sweet notes even more.
