The Glencadam Distillery, which temporarily closed its doors in 2000, experienced an impressive revival as early as 2003 under new management. To mark this significant new beginning, Glencadam launched a strictly limited edition in 2017, limited to just 6,000 bottles worldwide.

The huge success of this special edition led to the release of Batch #3 in 2019, comprising 5,994 bottles. The steadily growing popularity of this whisky eventually prompted the distillery to include the ‘13er’ in its permanent range. Despite this decision, availability remains limited, which continues to make the whisky a highly sought-after rarity.

Glencadam 13 Years Old impresses with an exceptionally smooth yet complex flavour profile. Matured in carefully selected oak casks, this single malt captivates with a harmonious balance between fruity, spicy and malty notes. Its character is defined by a natural elegance that is typical of whiskies from the Glencadam Distillery.

Tasting Note

Colour: Brilliant gold.

Nose: Fresh citrus aromas, green apple and a hint of honey and vanilla.

Palate: Full-bodied, ripe fruit, oaky spice, toffee, malt and subtle herbal notes.

Finish: Long-lasting, with notes of oak.

It pairs superbly with mild cheeses, dark chocolate or roasted nuts.
