Facundo Exquisito is a masterful combination of rare, long-aged rums that were initially aged for between 7 and 23 years in ex-bourbon casks. They were then transferred to ex-sherry casks for further refinement, giving the rum its characteristic depth, fruitiness and gentle sweetness. This meticulous finishing process lends the Exquisito its exceptional balance between dark fruit notes, subtle spice and silky smoothness.

Tasting Note

Colour: Dark amber with mahogany-coloured highlights.

Nose: Rich aromas of dried fruit, figs and raisins, accompanied by subtle notes of vanilla, dark chocolate and a hint of oaky spice. A subtle sherry sweetness rounds off the bouquet.

Palate: Silky smooth and full-bodied with notes of caramel, honey and ripe red fruits. The sherry cask maturation brings out nuances of candied orange, cinnamon and lightly toasted almonds. Subtle toasty aromas and a gentle spiciness lend excellent depth.

Finish: Long and elegant with lingering notes of sweet sherry, dark chocolate and a delicate oak spice that fades slowly.
