Poli Grappa Po di Poli Morbida Smooth is a high-quality, single-varietal grappa made from 100 per cent Moscato grapes. This fine grape variety lends the spirit its characteristic, mellow aroma with fruity and floral notes. The Poli distillery, founded in 1898 by GioBatto Poli, looks back on a long tradition of artisanal distillation. Today, the family business is run by siblings Jacopo, Geampaolo, Barbara and Andrea Poli and is renowned for its outstanding grappas.

Produced in Schiavon, a municipality in the north-eastern Italian region of Veneto, this grappa is distilled according to time-honoured tradition using state-of-the-art technology. Poli Po di Poli Morbida is bottled without barrel ageing, thereby preserving the pure, fresh aromas of the Moscato grape. The name ‘Morbida Smooth’ already hints at its mild, rounded character, which makes this grappa particularly pleasant and harmonious. Packaged in a stylish tin box, it is ideal as a sophisticated gift or for special moments of indulgence.

Tasting Note

Colour: Crystal clear.

Nose: Intensely fruity with notes of ripe pear, apricot, orange blossom and a hint of honey.

Palate: Soft and smooth, characterised by sweet fruit flavours, floral nuances and a subtle spiciness.

Finish: Long-lasting, gentle and elegant with a slightly floral aftertaste.

This grappa is ideal as a digestif after a good meal. It pairs perfectly with mild desserts such as panna cotta, almond biscuits or white chocolate. It also reveals its full elegance when served with mature cheeses, particularly blue cheese or pecorino. For lovers of fine cocktails, Poli Po di Poli Morbida Smooth can also be used in sophisticated grappa-based cocktails to showcase its fruity and floral aromas.

A serving temperature of 18–20 °C is recommended.
