Ron Vacilón Tradicional Añejo 5 Años is an authentic Cuban rum that perfectly embodies the rich rum-making heritage of this Caribbean island. This rum is produced in the city of Ciego de Ávila in the heart of Cuba, a region renowned for its sugar cane fields and long tradition of distilling. Production takes place strictly in accordance with Cuban standards under the supervision of the state-owned organisation Cuba Ron S.A., which guarantees quality control and authenticity.

Vacilón Añejo 5 Años is distilled exclusively from Cuban molasses and is aged for at least five years in American white oak casks. This ageing period gives the rum its warm amber colour and a harmonious balance between sweetness, fruitiness and spice. With an alcohol content of 40 % vol., the rum offers a pleasant strength for versatile enjoyment – both neat and in classic cocktails.

Tasting Note

Colour: Pale gold with a slight coppery sheen.

Nose: Mild and balanced with aromas of vanilla, caramelised sugar, banana, coconut and a subtle hint of wood.
