Description
Description
Veuve Clicquot Champagne Rosé Brut is a noble, expressive rosé champagne from the heart of Champagne, which embodies the unmistakable style of the traditional Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin house. It is made from the classic grape varieties Pinot Noir (Pinot Noir), Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, which are carefully selected from the best sites in Champagne. The high proportion of Pinot Noir gives it its characteristic structure and intensity, while Chardonnay provides elegance and freshness and Pinot Meunier rounds off the harmonious fruitiness.
The cuvée is made according to the traditional Méthode Champenoise, in which the wine undergoes its second fermentation in the bottle. The rosé tone is achieved by adding around 12% red wine from Pinot Noir, which is known for its aromatic richness and depth of colour. After maturing on the lees for several years, the result is a brut champagne that combines strength, balance and unmistakable elegance - in the spirit of the legendary Madame Clicquot, who stands for innovation and quality.
Tasting Note
The Veuve Clicquot Rosé Brut presents itself in the glass with a radiant rosé colour and seductive sparkle. The nose is generous and fine, with intense aromas of fresh red fruits such as raspberries, wild strawberries, cherries and blackberries. After a short time, additional notes reminiscent of baked fruit, sponge cake, yeast pastries, almonds and apricots unfold. The palate has a fresh attack that develops into a harmonious fruit balance. The structure is elegant, racy and precise, with a creamy mousse and a long, full-bodied finish.
Residual sugar: 9-10 g/litre
The Veuve Clicquot Rosé Brut is ideal as an aperitif, but also accompanies culinary dishes with elegance and depth. It is particularly harmonious with grilled salmon, tuna tartare, scallops, grilled poultry or fine pâtés. It also goes well with desserts with red fruit or light-coloured chocolate. The optimum serving temperature is 8-9 °C. It matures over several years, allowing its complex flavours to develop further. An opulent yet finely structured rosé champagne that perfectly reflects the style of the House of Veuve Clicquot - character, depth and irresistible charm.
