The Talisker PORT RUIGHE Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 45.8% ABV, 0.7 l + GB, is an expressive bottling from the historic Talisker Distillery on the Isle of Skye. The name Port Ruighe (pronounced ‘Portree’) is the Gaelic name for the port of Portree, which to this day remains the island’s gateway to the world. This name links the bottling to the distillery’s seafaring history and maritime heritage.


The whisky is initially matured in ex-bourbon casks and refilled oak casks before being finished in port casks. This double maturation process lends it a fruity depth that harmonises perfectly with Talisker’s characteristic maritime and peaty, smoky notes. With an alcohol content of 45.8% vol., it is robust, full-bodied and intense – a whisky that combines both the salty coastal spice and the sweet fruitiness of the port casks. The high-quality gift box (GB) also makes it an attractive present for connoisseurs and collectors.

Finish: Long-lasting, warm and spicy, with smoke, dark fruits and an elegant woody structure.
