The family-run Caffo company is headquartered in Limbadi, Calabria, and operates several distilleries where high-quality spirits are produced. The company’s roots date back to the late 19th century, when Giuseppe Caffo began distilling grape marc. In 1915, he acquired an old distillery in Sicily and initially specialised in the production of grape brandies.

Thanks to the family’s dedication and support, the range has been continuously expanded and now comprises an impressive variety of spirits.

Particularly noteworthy is the aromatic herbal liqueur from Calabria, produced according to an old family recipe.

A careful selection of herbs, flowers, fruits and roots – including orange, liquorice, camomile, mandarin and juniper – lends the liqueur its unique smoothness and the unmistakable flavour that makes Caffo’s Bitter so special.
