Amaro di Angostura 35% ABV 0.7l online kaufen

Amaro di Angostura is a luxurious herbal liqueur with an alcohol content of 35% vol., embodying the long-standing tradition of the Angostura distillery, which is renowned worldwide for its high-quality spirits and, in particular, for its famous Angostura Bitters. This amaro is produced by infusing carefully selected botanicals, including a variety of herbs, spices and citrus fruits, and offers a complex and balanced flavour profile.

Amaro di Angostura captivates with its rich variety of aromas, ranging from a light citrus freshness to spicy and herbaceous notes. The slow maturation process and the secret recipes of the Angostura distillery result in an amaro with a lovely herbal spiciness and a harmonious, slightly bitter finish – typical of an amaro – but with a subtle sweetness and complexity that make it particularly pleasant.

Tasting Note

Colour: Dark, rich amber.

Nose: An inviting blend of herbs, spices and citrus notes, accompanied by a hint of cinnamon and cloves.

Palate: Full-bodied and well-balanced, with intense herbal and spicy notes that blend harmoniously with citrus fruits and a hint of sweetness.

Finish: Long and pleasantly bitter, with a spicy aftertaste accompanied by a delicate hint of sweetness.

Amaro di Angostura is ideal for enjoying neat, either on the rocks or with a small dash of water to intensify the flavours. It is also an excellent ingredient in cocktails, such as the classic Negroni or Amaro Sour, where its herbal and bitter depth comes into its own. This Amaro pairs wonderfully with fruity desserts such as chocolate mousse or cheesecake, offering an interesting balance to the sweetness of the desserts.
