Royal Oporto White Port is an exceptional white port from the renowned Porto region in Portugal. This port is made from white grapes such as Malvasia Fina, Gouveio and Rabigato, which thrive in the ideal climatic conditions of the Douro Valley. The grapes are harvested by hand and then carefully vinified to preserve their fresh, fruity aromas. Royal Oporto White Porto is aged in oak barrels, which imparts a subtle woody note that harmonises perfectly with the fruity aromas. With an alcohol content of 19% vol., it offers the typical intense and powerful characteristics of a port, whilst retaining a refreshing crispness and elegance.

This White Porto is ideal as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to a wide variety of dishes and is particularly versatile. It is the perfect way to start a dinner or can be enjoyed as a digestif on special occasions.

Tasting Note

In the glass, this port wine displays a clear, golden hue with greenish highlights. On the nose, fresh aromas of white fruits, such as green apples and pears, unfold, paired with delicate citrus notes and a hint of honey. On the palate, the port is full-bodied yet refreshing, with a pleasant acidity that balances the fruity flavours. Oak barrel ageing adds subtle woody notes, lending the wine depth and complexity. The finish is long and smooth, with a hint of citrus and an elegant, lingering sweetness.
