The Gautier XO Pinar del Río Exclusive Cigar Blend is a premium XO cognac, specially developed to be enjoyed with the finest cigars. Named after the Cuban tobacco-growing region of Pinar del Río, this exclusive bottling offers a harmonious blend of mature cognac character and balanced roasted aromas, perfectly tailored to complement fine tobacco. With an alcohol content of 41.2% vol. and presented in an elegantly designed gift box, this cognac is aimed at discerning connoisseurs with a penchant for refined compositions.

The historic Maison Gautier, founded in 1755, is one of France’s oldest cognac houses. For this XO edition, only exceptionally matured eaux-de-vie from the finest crus – primarily from Grande Champagne and Fins Bois – have been used. The long ageing period in oak casks ensures a complex structure, rounded tannins and an aromatic depth that makes this cognac ideal for pairing with cigars.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep mahogany with subtle coppery highlights.

Nose: Complex, with aromas of dried fruit, toasted oak, vanilla, cinnamon and a hint of leather.

Palate: Full-bodied and warm with notes of fig, candied orange peel, toasted nuts and subtle spice. A hint of smokiness in the background.

Finish: Long-lasting, elegant and multi-layered with lingering spice, oak and a subtle sweetness.

Ideal for enjoying neat at room temperature in a cognac glass. This XO cognac has been specially developed to complement cigars – particularly recommended with medium-bodied to full-bodied cigars with a creamy, spicy profile. It also offers an intense taste experience when paired with dark chocolate or a selection of mature hard cheeses.
