The Dictador SEDUCTIVO 24 Years Old Colombian Aged Rum Limited Edition is an exceptional Austro-Colombian rum creation, in which Mario Reisenhofer, Managing Director of delicando, played a key role. Working alongside Dictador, the idea emerged during numerous tastings to select a rum that would live up to the name ‘Seductivo’ in terms of character and quality. Mario Reisenhofer contributed his many years of experience with premium spirits and his expertise in sensory evaluation. The result is an exclusive 24-year-old Colombian rum with an ABV of 44.2 per cent, presented in a 0.7-litre bottle with a gift box, which combines Dictador’s signature style with Austrian spirits expertise.


The Dictador Seductivo is based on molasses rums distilled in Cartagena in 1994. Around one-third of the distillates come from pot stills, providing body and intensity, whilst around two-thirds were distilled in column stills, contributing elegance and smoothness to the blend. Of particular note is the genuine 24-year maturation: The rums were first aged for 18 years in ex-bourbon casks, followed by a further six years in sherry casks. It is therefore neither a Solera process nor a ‘up to 24 years’ claim. The joint selection by Mario Reisenhofer and Dictador, the long cask maturation and the limited availability make the Seductivo a particularly distinctive bottling for collectors and connoisseurs of exclusive premium rums.

Tasting Note

Colour: Dark amber with mahogany-coloured highlights.

Nose: Multi-faceted with caramel cream, orange, cocoa and delicate roasted notes, accompanied by tropical fruits, coffee beans, almonds and sweet honey.

Palate: Velvety smooth and full-bodied with sweet vanilla, tropical fruits, chocolate and cocoa, complemented by toffee and delicately spicy coffee notes.

Finish: Long-lasting, sweet and harmoniously spicy with elegant lingering notes of coffee, chocolate and oak.

The Dictador Seductivo 24 Years Old is best served neat at room temperature in a nosing or tulip glass to fully appreciate the complexity of its long maturation in Bourbon and sherry casks. It pairs well with mature hard cheeses, roasted almonds or walnuts, which complement the nutty and spicy notes. For desserts, dark chocolate, tiramisu, chocolate tart and creations featuring coffee, caramel or orange are ideal.
