Siegfried Wonderleaf Non-Alcoholic is the premium alternative for anyone who loves the aromatic diversity of a classic gin profile but wishes to consciously avoid alcohol. Developed by Rheinland Distillers in Bonn, this non-alcoholic botanical spirit is based on the recipe for the award-winning Siegfried Rheinland Dry Gin. Crafted by hand using traditional methods, 18 selected botanicals combine to create a complex interplay of flavours that is particularly well suited to cocktails and long drinks. The blend features natural ingredients such as lime blossom, juniper, thyme, cardamom, ginger, angelica root and lavender, creating a floral, spicy and fresh, citrus-forward profile – completely sugar-free and, of course, alcohol-free.

Stylistically, however, it remains true to the aromatic character of the original and presents itself as a modern interpretation of botanical diversity. Wonderleaf is not intended to be enjoyed neat, but was created specifically for mixed drinks and is regarded as the first German non-alcoholic gin-style alternative. With great attention to detail, it builds on the successful track record of its Macher, who have won numerous international awards for their ‘Siggi’.

Tasting Note

Colour: Clear.

Nose: Floral lime blossom, subtle hints of juniper, citrus and herbal spice.

Siegfried Wonderleaf non-alcoholic is ideal for non-alcoholic drinks such as Wonderleaf & Tonic (ideal in a 1:3 ratio), Virgin Collins, Botanical Highballs or fresh citrus spritz variations. Culinary, it pairs particularly well with Asian starters, light Mediterranean cuisine, summer rolls, grilled vegetables, fresh herb salads, as well as with goat’s cheese, crostini, orange dips and light desserts such as lemon sorbet or yoghurt and berry combinations. Its intense botanical freshness also makes it ideal as a non-alcoholic aperitif served over ice with a twist of citrus or a slice of cucumber.
