The Cedar Ridge Single Malt Whiskey 40% Vol. 0.7 l is an outstanding whiskey from the Cedar Ridge Distillery, which was founded in 2005 by Jeff Quint and his wife Laurie. The distillery is known for its artisanal production and uses only 100% malted barley to create this whiskey. The first maturation takes place in new oak barrels, which gives the whiskey a solid foundation of oak flavours.

The unique Solera method maturation process involves four different types of cask: Wine (from a local vineyard), Bourbon, French Oak and Brandy. This complex barrel selection produces an extraordinary depth and variety of flavours. At 40% alcohol by volume, the Cedar Ridge Single Malt offers a balanced flavour experience that is both smooth and rich.

Tasting Note

Colour: Light gold.

Nose: Aromas of vanilla, caramel, fresh fruit and a hint of oak.

Flavour: Full-bodied with notes of caramel, dried fruit, spices and a fine woody note.

Finish: Langs and warm, with a soft sweetness and a hint of oak spice.

This whiskey is ideal for drinking straight or with a drop of water to further develop the flavours. It goes well with mild cheese, nuts or even sweet desserts such as apple pie or caramel cream. Best enjoyed neat at room temperature.
