Description
Tomatin 30-Year-Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 46% vol. 0.7l in a wooden box online kaufen
The Tomatin Distillery, situated on the eastern edge of the Monadhliath Mountains, offers perfect conditions for whisky production. The water used to produce Tomatin whisky comes from the Alt-na-Frith Burn, which flows through the nearby hills and is renowned for its purity.
The Tomatin Distillery is releasing a 30-year-old single malt whisky, which is finished in ex-bourbon casks after a long period of maturation. This special maturation process gives the whisky a distinctive flavour characterised by the bourbon casks.
The Tomatin 30 Years Old is bottled in an elegant decanter, presented in a fine oak box, which further emphasises the whisky’s exclusive character. As the whisky is bottled without any added colouring or chill filtration, it retains its natural colour and its original range of aromas.
This limited edition, restricted to just 3,000 bottles, offers whisky connoisseurs a unique opportunity to enjoy an exceptional single malt that captivates with its long maturation period and meticulous craftsmanship.
Tasting Note
Colour: Light amber with golden highlights.
Nose: Honey, vanilla, tropical fruits, butterscotch, toasted almonds and a hint of coconut.
Palate: Smooth and rich, with notes of sweet oak, dried apricots, crème brûlée, spicy nutmeg and a hint of citrus.
Finish: Lang, smooth and elegant, with lingering notes of honey, toasted nuts and a subtle spiciness.
The Tomatin 30 Years Old reveals its full potential when enjoyed neat, ideally in a nosing glass to bring out its aromas to the full. Its sweet and fruity notes harmonise beautifully with white chocolate, butter biscuits or a delicate caramel dessert. Those wishing to pair it with savoury dishes can enjoy it with mature cheeses such as an aged Comté or mildly smoked salmon. It also makes for a stylish finish as a digestif after a sumptuous dinner.
