Since its foundation in 1793, the picturesque setting and proximity to the harbour in the west of the Scottish Highlands have made the Oban Distillery a magnet for new settlers. Oban, which means ‘little bay’ in Gaelic, has, despite initial challenges, developed into one of the most prestigious and efficient distilleries. With just two stills, Oban produces up to 700,000 litres of spirit annually, making it one of the smallest distilleries in the world – a testament to its excellence and tradition in whisky-making.

Oban 21 Years Old, distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2018, matures in carefully selected, refilled European oak casks and is bottled at cask strength to preserve its full spectrum of flavours.

Tasting Note

Colour: Amber.

Nose: Fresh, spicy, floral, aromatic, rocket, asparagus, orange juice, tea biscuits.

Palate: Blood oranges, raspberries, cinnamon, pepper, nuts.

Finish: Long-lasting, with a juicy orange flavour.
