Tasting Note

Colour: Golden amber.

Nose: Smoky peaty notes with sweet caramel, vanilla and a subtle briny quality.

Palate: Rich smokiness, accompanied by spicy oak notes, toffee and a hint of honeyed sweetness.

Finish: Long and warming with lingering peaty smoke and spicy oak.

This Lagavulin 9 Years Old pairs superbly with dark chocolate with a high cocoa content or strong cheeses such as mature Cheddar.
