The GlenDronach 10 Years Old Forgue is matured for at least 10 years in a combination of Spanish Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, which gives it its characteristic diversity of flavours.

This whisky is bottled in its natural colour, without any artificial colourings, preserving the product’s authenticity and purity. Furthermore, the GlenDronach distillery does not carry out chill filtration, allowing the whisky to retain its rich texture and full-bodied flavours. Tasting Note

Colour: Deep golden, with a warm, radiant sheen.

Nose: A complex bouquet of blood oranges, cherries, barley, chestnuts and spices that immediately captivates the senses.

Palate: Sweetish and earthy, with fruity notes of oranges, sour cherries, redcurrants and a hint of barley, which unfold harmoniously.

Finish: Long-lasting, with spicy tobacco notes and a subtle hint of nutmeg that rounds off the experience.

The GlenDronach 10 Years Old Forgue is excellent enjoyed neat or with a splash of water to allow the flavours to unfold even further. It pairs perfectly with dark chocolate, particularly dark chocolate with a high cocoa content, or with mature hard cheeses such as Manchego or Gouda. This whisky is also an excellent choice to accompany a fine dessert such as a dark chocolate mousse or a selection of nuts.
