Cockspur Original Fine Rum, also known as Cockspur Fine Rum 5 Star, is a traditional rum from Barbados, whose light and balanced style is closely linked to its Caribbean origins. It is made from sugar cane molasses sourced from the island, which is distilled and then blended with coral-filtered water. It is matured in oak casks, which gives the rum additional body without losing its comparatively light character. The result combines subtle woody notes and a delicate molasses sweetness with vanilla and fresh accents. With an alcohol content of 40 per cent, Cockspur Original Fine Rum is designed both for enjoying neat and for versatile use in classic rum-based drinks.
