With the Aerstone whiskies, William Grant & Sons presents two distinctly different flavour profiles. Both variants are the same age, but maturing under different conditions gives them unique characteristics. Whilst one matures on the coast and is characterised by a smooth and light profile, the other whisky, stored in a Lager facility, develops a rich and smoky profile. This Aerstone range offers a choice of two single malts: ‘Smooth and Easy’ or ‘Rich and Smoky’.

Aerstone Land Cask 10 Years Old, matured in a warehouse inland, is enhanced by Highland peat, giving it a pronounced smoky character. This whisky reflects the depth and intensity that result from being stored far from the coast.

These carefully matured whiskies offer connoisseurs the opportunity to explore and enjoy the depth and diversity of single malt whisky.

Tasting Note

Colour: Dark gold.

Nose: Rich, strong peat, notes of coal, tar, campfire smoke, juicy citrus aromas.

Palate: Sweet, spicy, peaty, wood smoke, fruit.

Finish: Long-lasting, smoky.
