Tasting Note

Colour: Brilliant gold.

Nose: Floral and fruity notes of pear, apricot and white blossoms, combined with hints of honey, vanilla and gentle spices from the Mizunara oak.

Palate: Smooth and elegant with sweet flavours of caramel, toffee and roasted malt, accompanied by light notes of coconut and sandalwood from the Mizunara maturation.

Finish: Long and complex with spicy oak notes, subtle herbal tones and a hint of white pepper.

This fine Japanese single malt reveals its delicate flavours best when enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to bring out the Mizunara oak notes even more. It pairs superbly with sushi, grilled fish, blue cheese or dark chocolate. It is also an excellent choice to accompany a fine cigar or an elegant dessert such as matcha mousse.
