As a classic Speyside whisky, this single malt offers a perfect balance between sweet, malty and woody flavours.

It is initially matured in ex-American bourbon casks, which lend the whisky a delicate vanilla and caramel sweetness. It is then finished in hand-selected sherry casks, which give it added depth with notes of dried fruit, spicy oak and nutty accents.

Tasting Note

Colour: Warm amber with golden highlights.

Nose: Fruity aromas of red apples, peaches, vanilla, honey and a hint of toasted wood.

Palate: Smooth and sweet, with notes of malt, toffee, dried apricots, almonds and a gentle sherry spice.

Finish: Medium-length, slightly creamy with hints of honey, nuts and a gentle oakiness.

The Tamnavulin Double Cask reveals its full flavour best when enjoyed neat or with a drop of water. Thanks to its fruity and sweet notes, it pairs superbly with light chocolate, butter biscuits or caramelised nuts.
