The Glen Grant distillery was founded in 1840 in Rothes, Scotland, by the brothers John and James Grant. In 1872, James Grant’s son took over the distillery. It has been part of the Campari Group since 2006. Campari is an Italian company that ranks as one of the world’s sixth-largest spirits producers. At the same time, Dennis Malcolm was appointed Master Distiller; in 2021, he celebrated his 60th anniversary in the Scottish whisky industry.

The Glen Grant Rothes Chronicles CASK HAVEN Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the first of what will soon be three limited-edition whiskies in the Rothes Chronicles range. The whisky is named after its home town of Rothes, in Scotland. The name ‘Cask Haven’ pays tribute to the inventive spirit and boundless creativity of James Grant, who took over the distillery following the death of its founders.

This whisky is matured in first-fill bourbon and sherry casks.

Tasting Note

Colour: Pale gold.

Nose: Floral, fruit, Christmas spices.

Palate: Creamy, nuts, caramel, raisins, vanilla.

Finish: Long-lasting, sweet, nuts.
