Jura 13 Years Old TWO ONE TWO Single Malt Scotch Whisky 47.5% ABV 0.7 l + GB is a unique single malt Scotch whisky, produced on the Isle of Jura in Scotland with great dedication and in keeping with tradition. This whisky is matured for 13 years in ex-bourbon casks, before receiving a special finish in casks made from Chinkapin oak. Chinkapin oak, a subspecies of American white oak, is found mainly in the eastern United States and imparts unique woody and spicy aromas to the whisky, making it a true delight. With an alcohol content of 47.5% vol., the Jura 13 Years Old TWO ONE TWO offers a perfect balance between strength and elegance.

The choice of Chinkapin oak for the finish of this whisky is a defining feature that gives the Jura 13 Years Old TWO ONE TWO its distinctive character. This oak contributes to the development of subtle woody aromas and an added complexity, making the whisky even rounder and fuller-bodied. Tasting Note

Colour: Golden amber with a slight coppery tinge.

Nose: Aromas of vanilla, tropical fruits, dried apricots and a subtle smokiness, accompanied by the woody notes of Chinkapin oak.

Palate: Full-bodied and complex, with a harmonious blend of fruity notes, sweet caramel and a delicate smokiness, underpinned by the oak and a hint of spices.

Finish: Long and warm, with a lovely balance of oak, smoke and a gentle sweetness that lingers pleasantly on the palate.

The Jura 13 Years Old TWO ONE TWO is excellent when enjoyed neat, ideally at room temperature or slightly chilled, to allow the complex flavours to unfold fully. This whisky pairs perfectly with spicy dishes such as grilled meat or lamb, or with strong cheeses such as blue cheese and mature Cheddar, which complement the whisky’s intense woody and smoky notes.
