Bonpland Rum Rouge VSOP 40% vol. 0.5 l + GB is an outstanding Caribbean-German premium rum that impressively combines tradition, innovation and craftsmanship. Produced by Capulet & Montague and named after the French naturalist Aimé Bonpland, this rum epitomises the spirit of discovery and exceptional quality. The Caribbean rums used from Trinidad, Jamaica and Guyana are first carefully matured and then brought to Germany, where they undergo a second, particularly formative maturation stage.


The Bonpland Rum Rouge VSOP is double aged in Pinot Noir barrique barrels from the renowned VDP winery Friedrich Becker, which gives it its fine fruity notes, depth and structure. Under the direction of master blender Andreas Vallendar, a rum is created that impresses with its precision, balance and authenticity. The result is an elegantly composed rum that combines the power of tropical distillates with the finesse of German red wine culture. At the same time, there is no added sugar, colouring or cold filtration, which guarantees the natural, unadulterated character of this bottling.
