Tasting Note

Colour: Bright copper with a reddish sheen.

Nose: Ripe red berries, toffee, creamy vanilla and a hint of walnut. Accompanied by elegant notes of port, raisins and oak.

Palate: Smooth and fruit-forward with flavours of dark cherries, honey, almonds and slightly spicy oak. The sweetness from the port casks harmonises perfectly with the creamy texture.

Finish: Medium to long, with notes of dark fruit, delicate chocolate, spices and an elegant tannin structure.

Penderyn Portwood Single Malt is an excellent accompaniment to smoked duck breast carpaccio, game terrines or mature Brie de Meaux.
