Islay Mist The Original Peated Blend 40% Vol. 0.7 l is a traditional blended Scotch whisky that presents the characteristic smokiness of the Scottish island of Islay in a harmonious and accessible form. This blend was originally created in the 1920s to make the strong flavours of a typical Islay whisky milder and rounder. Today, it is considered a classic for beginners as well as connoisseurs who appreciate a balanced peated blend.


It is based on single malts from Islay, primarily from the renowned Laphroaig Distillery, which characterises this blend with its distinctive peat smoke. They are complemented by selected Highland and Speyside malts as well as grain whiskies, which provide balance and a pleasantly soft texture. Bottled at 40% vol., the Islay Mist Original is a well-rounded, accessible whisky that conveys the typical Islay style with maritime, peaty and spicy notes without being overpowering.

Finish: Medium length, smoky and spicy with a fine sweetness in the aftertaste.
