Ableforth’s Bathtub Gin Navy Strength 57% vol. 0.7 l online kaufen

The history of Ableforth’s Bathtub Gin dates back to the era of American Prohibition, when alcohol was often produced under rather precarious conditions. At that time, due to the shortage of legally available alcohol, people resorted to using low-quality or even denatured alcohol, which they infused with juniper and other spices in their bathtubs at home. The herbs and spices were left to steep in the alcohol for several days or weeks to enhance its flavour and mask its inferior quality. This is how the term ‘Bathtub Gin’ came about.

Ableforth’s Bathtub Gin proudly presents its ‘big brother’, the Navy Strength. Lovers of classic Bathtub Gin will immediately feel at home with the Navy Strength too, as the botanicals used are identical. The difference lies in the strength: the Navy Strength packs a significantly bigger punch, achieved through a sophisticated cold-compounding process. This process enables the gin to develop a stronger and more intense flavour.

As a result, the Navy Strength offers a rich flavour experience that is ideal for those who appreciate a potent and aromatically complex gin.
