The production process is characterised by a two-stage maturation. First, the whisky is aged in carefully selected bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks before receiving its finish in special Lustau sherry casks. This elaborate finishing process allows the whisky to develop its characteristic aroma and an exceptional complexity of flavour.
