Tasting Note

Colour: Warm gold.

Nose: Delicate notes of roasted almonds, caramel, oranges and a fine maltiness.

Flavour: Soft and round with sweet vanilla, honey, citrus fruits and a hint of dark chocolate.

Finish: Medium length with lingering hints of oak and a slight spiciness.

Auchentoshan 12 Years Old is an excellent accompaniment to creamy cheeses such as Brie or mild blue cheese. A combination with fine dark chocolate or a dessert such as crème brûlée also harmonises perfectly with its sweet and nutty notes.
