The Dominican Republic, renowned for its first-class cigars and excellent rums, is situated on Hispaniola, part of the Greater Antilles and the second-largest island in the West Indies. The Caribbean islands, particularly the Dominican Republic, offer ideal conditions for sugar cane, which serves as the basis for rum production.
One of the finest examples is Ron Bermudez Anejo Selecto, a mild rum that has gained international recognition for its unique aroma and rich flavour. With a 150-year-old tradition, this rum is made from carefully selected sugar cane and distilled using traditional methods. Ron Bermudez Anejo Selecto is then aged for around 7 years in selected oak casks, which gives it its characteristic flavour.
Tasting Note
Colour: Dark gold.
Nose: Sugar cane, hints of malt.
Palate: Well-balanced, malty, with notes of toffee, vanilla and nuts, and a hint of chocolate.
Finish: Long-lasting.
For best enjoyment, it is recommended to serve it either neat or on the rocks.
