The Tobermory Whisky Distillery, situated in the picturesque town of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull in Scotland, has been one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries in continuous operation since its foundation in 1798.

Ledaig Whisky is carefully bottled at this historic distillery. A distinction is made between the peaty whiskies, known as ‘Ledaig’, and the unpeated whiskies, which are sold as ‘Tobermory’.

The Ledaig Whisky presented here is characterised by an 18-year maturation period and a special finish in Oloroso sherry casks, which gives it a rich and complex flavour profile.

Tasting Note

Colour: Amber.

Nose: Rich, fruity, well-balanced, sherry, seaweed, dried chilli flakes, pepper, a hint of oak.

Palate: Sherry, herbs, smoke, orange peel, coffee, a hint of tobacco, sea salt and white pepper.

Finish: Long-lasting, spicy, smoky, a hint of liquorice.
