Cenote Tequila Reposado 100% Agave Azul 40% vol. 0.7 l online kaufen

Cenote Tequila Reposado is an ultra-premium tequila made from 100% Weber Blue Agave, synonymous with the highest quality and artisanal perfection. Its name is inspired by Mexico’s breathtaking cenotes – natural swimming caves with crystal-clear fresh water, which were revered by the Maya as sacred gateways to the underworld. This connection to nature and tradition is also reflected in the production of this outstanding tequila.

Cenote Tequila Reposado undergoes double pot-still distillation, which gives it exceptional purity. It is then aged for three weeks in American oak casks, giving it a gentle woody note and a harmonious balance between sweet agave and spicy aromas. This short but effective ageing period preserves the tequila’s freshness and vibrancy, whilst allowing it to develop a subtle depth.

Tasting Note

Colour: Pale gold.

Nose: Delicate notes of vanilla and caramel, combined with sweet agave and a hint of citrus.

Palate: Smooth and full-bodied with a harmonious blend of sweet, spicy and woody nuances.

Finish: Long-lasting and pleasantly creamy, with a gentle hint of toasted oak.

This Reposado tequila is ideal as a sophisticated digestif or as a base for upmarket cocktails such as a Tequila Old Fashioned. When paired with food, it goes exceptionally well with grilled meat, spicy tacos or seafood. It complements creamy cheeses or dark chocolate particularly well, as these bring out its gentle vanilla and oak flavours.
