Se Busca Mezcal Artesanal Reposado 40% vol. 0.7 l is an exquisite, artisanal mezcal made from 100% Maguey Espadín (Agave angustifolia), which embodies the perfect balance between tradition and maturity. The name ‘Se Busca’, Spanish for ‘Wanted’, symbolises the quest for freedom, character and passion – values that make this mezcal unique.

Produced in Oaxaca, the most famous region for mezcal production, its production begins with the traditional roasting method. The agave hearts, also known as ‘piñas’, are roasted in earthen pits with hot stones and wood, giving the mezcal its distinctive, smoky notes. After fermentation with natural yeasts, it is double-distilled in copper stills. Unlike the young ‘Joven’ mezcal, this ‘Reposado’ is aged for several months in oak casks, giving it a smoother texture, a golden colour and additional aromas of vanilla and caramel.

With an alcohol content of 40% vol., it offers a smooth yet powerful tasting experience that will delight both mezcal connoisseurs and newcomers alike.

Tasting Note

Colour: Pale gold with warm amber hues.

Nose: Subtle smoky notes, blended with sweet vanilla, toasted agave, caramel and subtle woody notes.

Palate: Full-bodied and smooth with notes of honey, toasted oak, almonds and a hint of cinnamon.

Finish: Long, slightly spicy and harmonious with gentle smoky notes and a hint of dark chocolate.

Se Busca Mezcal Artesanal Reposado is ideal for enjoying neat at room temperature, allowing its gentle cask notes to unfold to their full potential.
