Se Busca Mezcal Artesanal Añejo 40% vol. 0.7 l is a super-premium mezcal that reflects the tradition and cultural diversity of Mexico in every bottle. Made from 100 per cent Agave Augustifolia Espadín, one of the finest varieties of agave used in mezcal production, this Añejo combines masterful craftsmanship with a deep connection to Mexico’s history. The name ‘Se Busca’, which means ‘wanted’ in Spanish, pays tribute to the courageous women who fought shoulder to shoulder with the men during the Mexican Revolution. This mezcal carries a message of strength and resilience that reflects both the history and culture of Mexico.

The mezcal is roasted in traditional stone ovens and then distilled in copper stills to ensure a unique and authentic taste experience. After distillation, Se Busca Mezcal Añejo is aged for at least 18 months in oak casks, giving it a wonderful complexity and depth. Its 40 % vol. alcohol content makes it ideal for drinking neat or as a base for sophisticated cocktails.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden brown with deep amber highlights.

Nose: Intense smokiness, combined with vanilla, caramel and subtle oak notes.

Palate: Full-bodied and rich, with a balanced blend of smoky agave, sweet caramel and vanilla notes, as well as a subtle complexity of wood and spices.

Finish: Long-lasting and warm, with a gentle smoky flavour and a hint of toffee and oak that lingers for a long time.
