The Mount Gay Distillery, founded in 1703, is the world’s oldest documented rum distillery and is synonymous with the highest quality in Caribbean rum production. The Eclipse is named after a solar eclipse in 1910, which serves as a symbol for this outstanding blend of traditional pot and column still distillates. It is matured in ex-bourbon casks made from American white oak, which gives it its unique character.
