Casa Paladin is a well-known Italian winery in the Veneto region, specifically in the Valpolicella DOCG area. The winery has a rich history dating back to the 1960s, when Carlo Paladin founded it.

Casa Paladin’s winemaking philosophy is to combine tradition with modern techniques to produce wines that express the region’s unique terroir. The winery employs a combination of traditional methods and state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the quality and consistency of its wines.

This highly aristocratic sparkling wine, an expression of elegance and verve, revives the magic of a bygone tradition, the ‘Filò’, that is, after-dinner conversation in the drawing room. It is a fascinating wine, the result of an original cuvée.

Tasting Note

Ruby red with cherry-red highlights in the glass. This is followed by a fine perlage and a pink head. On the nose, floral and fresh notes with red fruit and wild roses. On the palate, it is fresh to lively, sensual and, on the finish, pleasantly charming. A long-lasting finish.

This Paladin pairs superbly with dry pastries, shortcrust tarts with fruit and strawberries, as well as ham and melon.

It’s best enjoyed in summer whilst relaxing in the garden or on a boat.
