The vineyards are located in the renowned hills of the DOCG region between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. The calcareous moraine soils with clay and partly calcareous clay components give this Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry a fine minerality and balanced structure. The vines are cultivated in a single trellis, double arch and radial training system with around 2,500 vines per hectare. After gentle whole-cluster pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation takes place at 15-16 °C in order to optimally preserve the fresh fruit and floral aromas. At 11% vol., Villa Sandi Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry DOCG is elegant, fresh and harmoniously balanced. The finely tuned extra dry style ensures a pleasant fruitiness and a particularly accessible elegance.

Tasting Note

In the glass, Villa Sandi Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry DOCG is light straw yellow in colour with a fine and persistent perlage. The nose reveals elegant aromas of white fruit, floral nuances and subtle citrus notes. On the palate, the Prosecco made from 100% Glera is fresh, harmonious and elegant, with fine fruit, a lively structure and balanced freshness. The finish is soft, animating and pleasantly long-lasting.
