The Macallan Distillers is one of the world’s most renowned whisky distilleries, known for its exceptional single malt whiskies since its foundation in 1824. Situated in the heart of Scotland’s Speyside region, The Macallan is distinguished by its unrivalled dedication to quality and craftsmanship. The Macallan’s philosophy centres on achieving the perfect balance between wood and distillate. Every stage of production, from the selection of barley malt to maturation in hand-selected oak casks, is monitored with the utmost care. The Master of Wood and the Whisky Mastery Team ensure that every cask meets the highest standards.

The Macallan Quest Collection was created exclusively for Global Travel Retail. This collection tells the story of The Macallan’s quest for the most exceptional sherry oak casks and offers a quartet of exquisite flavours.

The Macallan Quest, known as ‘The Beginning of the Journey’, symbolises the journey The Macallan undertook to find the source of the finest oak casks. American bourbon casks are combined with selected European sherry casks, as well as American oak casks and hogsheads, to guarantee an incomparably fresh flavour. “The journey where the world is a canvas and the sky is the limit.”
