This whisky comes from Scotland’s famous Speyside region, which is renowned for its fruity and elegant malts.

With an alcohol content of 46% ABV, the Hopkins Reserve has been bottled without chill filtration to preserve its full character and natural flavours. It is matured in carefully selected ex-bourbon and sherry casks, which lend it a harmonious balance of sweet fruitiness and gentle woody notes. The combination of vanilla, honey, ripe apples and a subtle spiciness makes this whisky an ideal choice for lovers of Speyside malts who are looking for an approachable yet complex expression.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden amber with warm honey tones.

Nose: Sweet notes of honey and vanilla blend with fresh green apples, malt and a hint of citrus freshness.

Palate: Smooth and well-balanced, with creamy vanilla, honey, ripe pears and a hint of spicy oak and nutmeg.

Finish: Medium-length and smooth, with a gentle hint of toffee and slightly spicy oak.

Speyburn Hopkins Reserve is excellent enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to bring out its delicate flavours even more. It pairs perfectly with nutty chocolates, mature cheeses or mild cigars, which highlight its creamy and fruity complexity. It can also develop an interesting depth of flavour in a classic whisky sour, thanks to its sweet and spicy notes.
