Malt Master Dr Craig Wilson was personally responsible for this whisky. With great passion and artisanal finesse, he spent hours hand-selecting and perfectly blending whiskies from three different cask types – refill casks, Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, as well as first-fill ex-bourbon casks – and to harmonise them perfectly. The result is a wonderfully balanced whisky with a smooth texture, warm sweetness and subtle spicy notes – an effortlessly delightful dram that perfectly embodies The Singleton’s philosophy: uncomplicated, balanced and naturally elegant.


With an alcohol content of 40% vol., the Malt Master’s Selection has a mild, creamy texture that is excellent enjoyed both neat and in cocktails.

Tasting Note

Colour: Warm honey-gold with subtle copper highlights.

Nose: Smooth and aromatic with notes of apple, pear, toffee, vanilla, honey and lightly toasted nuts.

Palate: Smooth, sweet and rounded with creamy flavours of caramel, malt, dried fruit and delicate sherry notes; subtle hints of wood and spice add depth.

Finish: Mild, harmonious and warming, with a hint of vanilla, honey and gentle oak spice.
